The Comox Valley is known for its abundance of local Chinook Salmon, which spend their entire lives migrating through the Salish Sea. This offers a fantastic fishing experience year-round. Comox provides excellent fishing opportunities close to shore in protected waters. During peak season, guests catch Salmon, Lingcod, Pacific Cod, and Rockfish. October to May, we also harvest Prawns and Crab.

Our fleet is well-managed, with professional captains and boats that are clean and well-maintained. Each vessel features twin 2024 200HP Yamaha 4-stroke engines, a heated cabin, a private washroom, an extra-wide deck, and spacious seating and fishing areas.

Island Pursuit specializes in full and half-day fishing charters, offering top-tier equipment, professional guides, a focus on safety, and an exceptional fishing experience. We look forward to welcoming you aboard in beautiful Comox, BC.
Our peak summer season runs from May to September, providing the opportunity to target all Pacific salmon species, including Chinook and Coho Salmon, as well as Lingcod, Pacific Cod, and Snapper. With consistent fishing during these months, we fish protected waters just 10-30 minutes from our moorage, minimizing travel time and maximizing fishing time.
Operating year-round, we also offer winter salmon fishing for Chinook, along with excellent Prawn and Crabbing opportunities from October to May.

How to book your trip
Booking a trip with us is simple and hassle-free! Once you decide to reserve a day, I’ll provide all the trip details, including a map to our convenient location, a checklist of what to bring, and a link to easily purchase your fishing license (also available on our website). You’ll then receive an email invoice for a deposit to secure your booking.
Our billing system is secure and accepts both Visa and MasterCard. We cater to all ages and experience levels, and I personally ensure that every aspect of your trip with us is seamless and enjoyable.
